This Board is composed of: - The Chair of the SciVentures Technology Assessment Committee
- The Chair of the SciVentures Investment Committee
- A designated representative of each investor
The purposes of the SciVentures Investment Review Board are as follows: 1. To report on certain activities during the previous quarter, namely: - The number and quality of Requests for Investment received
- New investments
- Existing investments that have progressed to the next Stage or Stages
- Variation to existing investments
- Exits
- SciVentures PSF investment portfolio
2. To review performance metrics for all participants including the SciVentures PSF – The Fund Manager, the Case Managers, the participating Institution's deal flow, and the stage-to-stage success rates 3. To discuss methods that may lead to an improved investment process from several perspectives, but in particular: - The generation of the Request for Investment
- The assessment of the Request
- Feed back from the TAC and the IC to the originator of the Request
- Feed back on case management
- The development of strategies for and execution of Exits
The Board has no formal status. It will meet quarterly and all information disclosed at the Board meetings is kept confidential.
